Does GSS 500 use poisons or harmful chemicals?
No. This product’s Mode of Action is completely safe. GSS 500 uses a mechanical action to destroy microbes.
Will GSS 500 create new “super bugs”?
No. Again, GSS 500 does not use poisons or chemicals. It is a complete destruction of the microbe with no chance for survival.
What does GSS 500 “kill”?
GSS 500 destroys odor causing bacteria, both gram negative and gram positive. In addition, mold, mildew, fungi, algae and yeast.
What about MRSA, C. Diff. and H1N1 Swine flu?
Although not on the label, extensive third party testing has conclusively proven that we destroy all three.
Does GSS 500 leach from surfaces once it’s applied?
No, GSS 500 is a non-leaching bound technology. It does not off-gas from the surface in any way.
Can I remove GSS 500 once it has been applied?
Once it dries, only sanding or scraping will remove it.
What will happen when I clean a GSS 500 treated surface?
GSS 500 treated surfaces are safe and unaffected by repeated cleanings. As long as the cleaning solutions used have a pH of between 3 – 10.5 there will be no reduction in efficacy.

The pH of GSS 500 falls in between 4 – 5.
Does this product have EPA registration?
Yes. It is EPA registered.
Where can GSS 500 be used?
GSS 500 can be used on all surfaces, both porous and non-porous. This is a tremendous advantage over disinfectants which are only approved for hard, non-porous surfaces.
What about food areas?
In addition to EPA registration, GSS 500 has an acceptance letter from the USDA. This letter gives the product the ability to be used on food contact surfaces.
What about PPE?
Gloves and protective eyewear unless fogging at which time a respirator should be used.
